Using a capsule sealing machine, filled, two-piece capsules are sealed with a double band of either gelatin or Quali-V® (hypromellose) at the joined portion of the cap and body. It is virtually impossible to open a capsule that has been sealed with the sealing machine without affecting the product’s physical appearance. This process results in a tamper-resistant product and enhances customer confidence.
