Qualicaps offers Quali-V® capsules - the latest commercial product to emerge from the Qualicaps research & development department offers superior dissolution properties. Quali-V® hypromellose (HPMC) capsules are a multifunctional two-piece hard shell capsule manufactured from hypromellose (HPMC) using patented technology. Hypromellose, formerly known as hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, (HPMC) is derived from non-animal sources. Quali-V® has superior dissolution profiles suitable for pharmaceutical use. Additional benefits of Quali-V® are its chemical stability and low moisture content – making it an attractive alternative for hygroscopic formulations.

Quali-V® capsules are available in a wide array of sizes, colors and print options. Like gelatin, Quali-V® can be filled with powders, pellets, granules, liquids and semi-solids. They have the same visual and dimensional specifications as gelatin capsules and perform similarly on high-speed filling equipment.

Low Moisture Benefits
Quali-V“ capsules have a low moisture content (4%-6%) and are designed for a broad spectrum of encapsulation requirements. They can be filled with powders, granules, tablets, semi-solids and liquids.
