Overview of the Check Weighing Process:
Capsules (or tablets) feed in from the hopper above the CWI
(or TWI) and feed down through the patented Qualicaps
three-drum rectification system. Each capsule is individually
inspected by the Differential Transformer Balance (D/T Balance).
The built-in Metlar balance calibrates the D/T balance automatically
during operation to ensure perfect inspection. Out-of-spec
capsules (or tablets) are discharged from the inspection drum
and only acceptable product is released.
