Effective 1st July 2020, Qualicaps® Group, which was previously forming part of the Life Sciences Institute (LSII) of the Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings Corporation (MCHC), has been transferred to the Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation (MCC).

Qualicaps® remains a wholly-owned subsidiary of MCHC, and as such will continue to take advantage of its network of resources in order to expand the capsule business and innovate in products and services to the betterment of the society and its wellbeing, as guided by our KAITEKI value philosophy. In fact, this move is designed to enhance synergies leveraging MCC’s technology, resources and know-how towards further development and contribution to the realization of the KAITEKI via our particular area of impact, health and wellbeing.

As evidence of this, Qualicaps® has already begun to invest in upgraded technologies that will enable us to pursue progress made in exploring the design of new solid oral dosage forms that respond to emerging requirements arising in the pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare markets, as well as in producing increasingly precise and personalized capsules that fully satisfy the expectations set by our customers and end-users.  The robustness of a company like MCC will allow us to ensure the best service surrounding a capsule-based product delivery.
