IPEC (International Pharmaceutical Excipients Council) Europe in collaboration with APV (International Association for Pharmaceutical Technology) will be organizing the 7th annual conference on pharmaceutical excipients, in Cologne (Germany), on September 17th-18th, 2018. This conference, mainly focused on excipient regulation and technology areas, will also offer 3 parallel workshops to further discuss on regulatory topics, with a view to IPEC Guidelines providing tools to achieve compliance. These workshops will focus on implementation of GMP in an excipient manufacturing site, supplier qualification and auditing, as well as analytical data and certificates of analysis provided by suppliers of excipients. Federico García Sagrado, Ph.D., Vice President of QA/QC & Regulatory for EMEA, will form part of a panel to discuss the ever-increasingly important topic within excipients regulatory compliance, “Particulate matter in pharmaceutical starting materials and drug products”.
